Vacancy Distribution of Energy Assistant Post

Duties as Junior Lineman in APEPDCL

Here we are sharing the work profile of Energy Assistant / Junior Lineman in APEPDCL on selection. The selected candidates will be allotted to the Village Secretariats / Ward Secretariats to provide service in respect of the following works:

1. Looking after Power Supply & Street Lighting
2. To provide Service Connections under the guidance of DISCOM Staff
3. To be a coordinator between DISCOM staff & Renewable Energy Staff & Village / Ward Secretariat.

After the closing date of application, APEPDCL will call the candidates for Pole climbing, Meter reading & Cycling tests and verification of certificates. This stage of the APEPDCL JLM Recruitment 2019 is the Preliminary Stage, after which APEPDCL JLM Result / Selection List will be declared. As the candidates shall have to appear for the above- mentioned test at the venue mentioned in the Official Notice. Shortlisting Process of APEPDCL Junior Lineman ( Energy Assistants )

APEPDCL will shortlist the applicants for the skill test on the basis of evaluation. The Evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum of 80 marks for the total marks obtained in SSC and a maximum of 20 marks for in-service experience in the APDISCOMs as contract [email protected] 1 Mark for each completed 6 months period. Therefore, the candidates who secure merit in total marks obtained in SSC will be called for the following tests in a 1:3 ratio as per recruitment rules.

Moreover, the selection list will be drawn into two parts. The first part will comprise 20% of the posts consisting of merit list of local as well as non-locals and the remaining second part will comprise the balance 80% of the posts consisting of locals only.

Andhra Pradesh Junior Lineman Shortlisting Candidates shall be based on the Cut Off Marks as decided by the Authority. Documents to be submitted during document verification

On being called for document verification, shortlisted candidates should produce the original documents of the following as under –

• Age Proof documents like SSC Pass Certificate.
• Qualification Certificate of SSC, ITI Qualification Certificate & Other higher qualification if the candidates are highly qualified.
• Permanent Community Certificate issued by Tahasildar / MRO clearly indicating the Sub-Caste and group.
• Study Certificate from IV to X Class (as per Proforma in Annexure-II) of the APEPDCL Notice.
• Residential Certificate issued by the Officer of the Revenue Department, not below the rank of Tahsildar.
