Duties as Junior Lineman in APSPDCL
With the release of Junior Lineman vacancy, a large number of aspirants have submitted the application within the closing date. On selection as Junior Lineman or Energy Assistants, selected candidates shall have to perform the following duties –
- Looking after Power Supply & Street Lighting
- Following DISCOM staff guidance, candidates should provide service connections.
- Work as a coordinator between DISCOM staff & Renewable Energy Staff & Village / Ward Secretariat.
APSPDCL JLM ( Energy Assistants ) Selection Process for Skill Test
APSPDCL will shortlist the candidates based on the academic scores in the qualification achieved. The Organisation while preparing the candidates list for skill test shall evaluate the scores in the academic qualification. Further, the selection list will be drawn into two parts. But while preparing the undermentioned conditions will be followed as under –
- The first part will comprise 20% of the posts consisting of merit list of local as well as non-locals and
- The second part will comprise the balance of 80% of the posts consisting of locals only.

Document Verification Particulars
