Assam PAT 2022 Notice Released: Director of Technical Education, Assam invites Online applications from the candidates who are Permanent Resident of Assam for registration to appear in the Polytechnic Admission Test [PAT] -2022 for admission into Diploma Courses in the following State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against seat allotted by the Govt. of India)/ Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Sibsagar / Central Institute of Plastic and Engineering Technology, Changsari, Guwahati ( Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilisers, Govt. of India ) for the session 2022-23. The Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2022 will be held in selected centers at Mangaldoi, Tezpur, Tinsukia, and Govt. Polytechnics/ Institutions of Assam. Details of the Eligibility is as follows-

Entry Qualification

Candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as a compulsory subject with – 40% marks [average] in Mathematics and Science for General Candidates. 35% marks [average] in Mathematics and Science for Scheduled Caste Candidates. 33% marks [average] in Mathematics and Science for Scheduled Tribes Candidates.

Candidates should read the instructions carefully in the Downloadable Information Brochure before filling the Online Assam PAT 2022 Application form. They should apply online by logging into www.dte.assam.gov.in and click on “Online Application for PAT-2022” will start from 01/05/2022 and will remain open till 10/06/2022 During the Online form fill up, An application fee of Rs.500/- [plus bank charges as applicable] is to be paid using “State Bank Collect”. So, make sure to complete the payment following the instructions on the screen.

Steps to apply for Assam PAT 2022 Application Form

1. Initially visit the official website at https://dte.assam.gov.in/
2. Now, locate the link which reads ” PAT 2022 Online Application”.
3. Tap on the link to apply.
4. A new web page will appear on the screen.
5. Go through the details and tap on ” Click to Apply” option.
6. Next fill up the details on the field available.
7. Upload photograph & signature scanned image.
8. Finally recheck the details and click on submit the form.
9. Applicants can take a print of the application form after the fees payment.
