PST/ PET of the Assam Sub Inspector Post
Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are the next round in the selection process. Physical Standard Test (PST) will have no marks and the candidate’s physical measurement as per notification shall be verified by the concerned official in PST. The candidate who clears the PST shall have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Physical Efficiency Test (PST) will carry 40 marks. It will have 2 (two) events as listed under-

Marks for Proficiency in Computers
Marks shall be awarded based on the knowledge acquired in Computer Science in the academics & Practical test of each candidate on the computer. The maximum marks for this test is 30. Mark Distribution is as follows-
- Master of Computer Application (MCA) – 10 (ten) marks
- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) -07 (seven) marks
- 2 (two) years Govt. Recognised Diploma in Computers- 06 (six) marks
- 1 (one) years Govt. Recognized Diploma in Computers – 04 (four) marks
- Minimum 6 (six) months course in Computers recognized by Govt.- 02 (two) marks
For Practical Test Maximum Marks shall be 20 marks, SLPRB will award marks based on practical knowledge of computers.
Marks for Extra-Curricular Activities
Extra-Curricular Activities include NCC Certificate, Sports Achievements & Academic Achievements, etc. The maximum mark in this Stage shall be 30 (thirty) marks.
