How are BTSC announced Junior Engineer Selected?
Bihar Technical Service Organisation (BTSC) has announced the Junior Engineer Posts under the Bihar State Government. The Selection Process for the post is through a total of 100 Marks which is distributed according to educational qualification and experience. The BTSC Junior Engineer Selection Process comprises of the following as under –

Calculation Method on BTSC Junior Engineer Merit List 2020
Here the marks which will be allotted to the candidates according to the BTSC Selection is illustrated here as under –
For 75 Marks in Educational Qualification: In calculating the Marks of the candidates, the percentage of the candidates in Diploma Engineering will be multiplied with .75 (.75×100=75). This means, if a candidate’s score is 80% in Engineering, then his / her score is (.75×80) = 60 Marks.
For 25 Marks on Experiences: For Calculation of the 25 Marks on experience, there will be a maximum cap of 25 marks. This 25 mark will be allotted to the applicants based on his / her experience. For calculation of Experience-Based Marks, the candidate’s working days will be multiplied by 5 & then this will be divided by 365 to derive the marks on percentage. This is illustrated through an example below –
- If a person has worked for full-year; his mark will be = (5×365/365)= 5 Marks, whereas
- If a person has worked for 250 days in a year; his marks on experience for that year will be = ( 5×250/365) = 3.424 marks.
