Vide this advertisement; Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will conduct recruitment of two categories of posts-

  • Constable/Driver and
  • Constable/DCPO.

CISF Constable Driver Selection Process shall consist of two stages of exams:-

  • Written Test.
  • PET/PST, Documentation & Trade test.

After these two exams, there will be a medical exam to check the medical fitness of the candidates before making the final selection. Admit card or Call up letter will be issued to the candidates online as CISF will upload the same on the CISF Official website https://cisfrectt.in at each stage of examination during the entire recruitment process.

Examination Pattern of CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2018

Get the details of examination pattern of CISF Constable Driver Recruitment here, willing candidates can check the pattern of the different exam in the selection process. So, let us start with the first step of selection i,e. Written Test or Examination.

Written Test:

The written exam shall be OMR or Computer-based written examination. The Question Papers will be in two languages i.e. Hindi & English. Minimum qualifying marks in this exam would be 35% for General and Ex-Serviceman candidates and 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The total marks of written test will be 100 marks consisting of 100 objective type multiple choice questions. Time allotment of the Written Test will be two (2) hours.

Selection for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) will be purely on the basis of performance or marks scored in written test and on the basis of cut off marks (category wise) to be fixed after completion of the written test.

Physical Fitness Test

Physical Fitness Test is one of the most important selection tests in the recruitment process. Following are the tests which shall be part of the total physical fitness test.

  • Height Bar Test (HBT): Candidates shall be checked for required height as per CISF standards. Qualified candidates in this stage will be qualified for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
  • Physical Efficiency Test: Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature and candidates will have to qualify in each of the events of PET. Failure in any of the events will eliminate the appeared candidates from the further process of recruitment. Physical Endurance Test shall have the following events as mentioned below-

  • Physical Standard Test(PST): Qualified candidates in Height Bar Test and PET will be summoned for measurement of height, chest, and weight by the Board of Officers in CISF. Following this, they will have to submit the Original testimonial or documents which will be scrutinized on that day.

Trade Test (Driving Test):

Since the recruitment is for CISF constable driver recruitment, so driving knowledge is essential to get on the final merit list. In this stage, candidates driving knowledge will be checked through the following examination as mentioned below. This test is qualifying in nature and appearing candidates should secure the minimum qualifying marks in this test.

Final Merit List of CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2018

Medical Examination:

Aspirants who qualify the Written Examination and Physical Efficiency Test and based on the merit of the Written Examination shall be required to appear in the Medical Examination. Candidates shall have to clear this test to get selected. Final Merit list of CISF Constable Driver will be prepared on the performance of Written Examination, Category wise merit list of applicants for General, SC, ST, OBC & Ex-servicemen will be prepared separately on the basis of marks scored in the written test subject to qualifying the Physical and Medical Examination.
