CTET 2020 Notification: Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi will organize CTET July 2020 and for this Official Notification is released by the Board. CTET Eligibility to become Teacher for Classes I-V
Primary Stage Central TET 2020 will be conducted on 5th July 2020 for the eligible candidates by CBSE. As we all know that CTET Qualification is a must to apply for Teacher Vacancies under Central Govt. Educational Institution namely KVS, NVS, Army School and others, so interested candidates can apply for CTET July 2020 if they wish to apply for teacher posts in Central Govt. Schools. Regarding the Eligibility to apply for CTET 2020, the same is discussed below-
- 10+2 Passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known) OR
- 10+2 Passed with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
- 10+2 Passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- 10+2 Passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Eligibility to become Teacher for Classes VI-VIII
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- 10+2 Passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- 10+2 Passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
For SC/ST/OBC/PWD Candidates, relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification is there.
Age Limit to Apply
There is no upper age limit to apply, however, candidates should be minimum 18 Years of age to apply for CTET.
CTET 2020 Registration- Application Fee
CTET Application bee can be remitted through online or through e-challan of Syndicate Bank & Canara Bank.

How to Apply Online for CTET 2020?
Willing candidates should apply through the official website of CTET, the online application link shall be activated on 24th January 2020. Aspirants should apply through the online method as no offline application shall be accepted. During application, submission candidates shall get a Registration Number and a password which should be preserved for future use. Aspirants can follow the under mentioned steps to fill up the online registration form.
- Visit CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
- Search and Go to the link “Apply Online”
- Click on the Link
- Now fill in the Online Application Form
- On submission, Registration No./Application No. will be on screen.
- Note down the Number
- Now Upload Scanned Images of the latest Photograph and Signature.
- After Upload Proceed to Exam Fee Payment Option
- Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit /credit card
- On Confirmation take a Print of the Confirmation page
- Keep the printout for the record and future references.
