DRDO CEPTAM STA B & Technician A Selection Process

DRDO Senior Technical Assistant –B & Technician A posts selection process will be Two steps of written tests and the final selection will be made of through Documents Verification. Students must remember Only Tier 1 and Tier 2 selected candidates will get called for Documents Verification. For students who are taking preparations, the examination pattern and syllabus are given below. The selection for DRDO Senior Technical Assistant –B & Technician A , will be through Three (3) Steps namely –

1. Phase-I: Tier 1 (CBT for Screening).
2. Phase-II: Tier 2 (CBT for Provisional Selection).
3. Phase-III: Documents Verification.

DRDO CEPTAM A&A Posts Selection Process

The selection process of DRDO CEPTAM 10 A&A Posts will consist of Tier–I (CBT) and Tier-II (Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test, wherever applicable). The Score of Tier-I (CBT) is important for Provisional selection while the Tier-II (Skill/ Physical Fitness and Capability Test, wherever applicable)

Provisionally shortlisted candidates in DRDO CEPTAM 10 Tier-1 will be called for the prescribed Tier-2/Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Tests for all posts except for Junior Translation Officer (JTO) Post. Candidates should note that it is mandatory to pass the prescribed Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Tests, wherever applicable for final selection.

Physical Endurance Test

Height without shoes – 165 cm for male & 157 cm for female Chest (un-expanded) – 81 cm for male

Male candidates – – Running a distance of 1600 meter in 07 minutes time – Carrying a weight of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 sec (Only for Fireman post) – 03 mtr vertical rope climbing (03 mtr foot above ground) – 20 sit ups – Clearing 2.7 mts wide ditch & landing on both feet (long jump) (to achieve in any one of the 03 chance given). Female Candidates – – Running a distance of 800 meter in 05 minutes time – Carrying a weight of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 sec (Only for Fireman post) – 2.5 mtr vertical rope climbing (2.5 mtr foot above ground) – 15 sit ups Or – Long jump of 2.0 mts (to achieve in any one of the 03 chance given)

• There shall be 10% relaxation in the performance standards for the candidates having age more than 40 years.
