Selection Process in ESIC SSO Recruitment
Applicants intend to appear for the ESIC Social Security Officer Recruitment 2022 must go through the following stages of selection. The ESI Corporation will shortlist the candidates based on the performance of applicants in –
- Preliminary Examination

- Computer Skill Test & Descriptive Test

ESIC SSO Selection Test Exam Pattern

ESIC SSO Phase I – Preliminary Exam Pattern
The ESIC SSO Phase I / Prelims Exam is an objective type test for all of the candidates whose application will be accepted and found in order. The Phase –I Prelims Exam is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit. As per the notice, about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I will be shortlisted for Phase II.

ESIC SSO Phase II – Main Examination Pattern
The shortlisted candidates in the Prelims Exam will have to appear in the Phase II Mains Exam. This Test will also have objective type questions and the marks obtained in Phase – II will be considered for final selection. In this stage, about 5 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – II will be shortlisted for Phase III.

ESIC SSO Phase III – Computer Skill Test & Descriptive Test
The ESIC SSO Phase III – Computer Skill Test and Descriptive Test will be qualifying in nature and marks in this stage will not be counted for merit ranking. The Qualifying Marks in Phase –III Computer Skill Test/ Objective Type Computer Test for PWDs & Descriptive Paper will be decided at the discretion of ESIC.
Computer Skill Test (CST) Overview
The CST is a 30 minutes duration test and will carry 50 marks comprising of following three parts: –
- Preparation of 02 Power Points Slides – 10 Marks
- Typing matter on MS Word with formatting – 20 Marks
- Preparation of Table on MS Excel with use of formulae – 20 Marks
Descriptive Paper – English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)
