What is WBSCTE JEXPO ?

To start we shall discuss the introduction on JEXPO? Actually JEXPO can be termed as an Entrance Test for Admission to Polytechnic Institutes of West Bengal. Every year a large number of students want to apply for admission to the Govt. Polytechnic Institutes of West Bengal. To streamline this process, West Bengal State Council of Technical Education aka WBSCTE conducts this entrance test. Based on the JEXPO Result the qualified candidates will be allotted the Polytechnic Institutes according to Merit through the process of counseling. Since, for the academic session 2022, this entrance exam Registration is announced. Thus it is termed as JEXPO 2022.

Who can Apply for JEXPO 2022 Registration?

Now the eligibility details of the students who can apply for JEXPO 2022 Registration is discussed. Candidates who want to apply for registration and want to appear for the Entrance Test must fulfil the following eligibility conditions as under –

• Willing Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• He/she must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• Candidates must have passed 10^th Exam with at least 35 % Marks in aggregate.
• The candidate should not be born after 1^st July 2007 and there is no upper age limit.

JEXPO 2022 Online Application Process

The Online Application Form will be available in the council’s website www.webscte.co.in from 1st March, 2022 to 18th April, 2022. During the application process, the willing candidates need to visit the WBSCTE Official Website and complete the registration process. During this process, the willing candidates shall also have to remit the application fees as under –

Required Application Fee – NIL

• Rs. 225/- for Kanyashree Enrolees
• Rs. 450/- for Others.

In the Online Process, there is no need to submit the print out to the Polytechnic Institute. However, candidate should ensure to complete the Registration Process within the Closing date.
