J&K Bank PO Recruitment Selection Stages

The candidates who have submitted the application for the Probationary Recruitment shall have to appear for the following stages as under –

First Stage	Preliminary Examination
2nd Stage	Mains Examination
Final Stage	Interview

The Preliminary Examination is the first stage of the selection. The shortlisted candidates in this stage can appear for the Mains Examination. Thereafter the qualified candidates in this test can appear for the Interview or Personality test. Candidates should note that the Preliminary Exam is for shortlisting the applicants in this selection process. And the score in this test will not be taken into account during the final selection. Only the score in the Mains Examination & Interview will be considered to prepare the merit list.

The structure of the J&K Bank PO Preliminary & Mains Examination is that this test will be conducted online. The components of this test is available here as follows:

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut off marks to be decided by J&K Bank.

Penalty for Wrong Answers is applicable to both – Online Preliminary and Online Mains examination. There will be a penalty of 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for which the applicants attempts a wrong answer.

Interview:

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. In this stage, the minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/Socially and educationally backward classes /PCP candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Mains Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively.

JK Bank PO Call Letter Release Updates

Applied candidates can get the exam centre, venue address, date and time for both online preliminary and online mains examination as well as interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the official J&K Bank website https://www.jkbank.com by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. Candidates should note that no hard copy of the call letter/ Information Hand-out etc. will be sent by post/ courier.

In this regard, the applicants shall get the intimations through email and/ SMS from the bank. However, the candidates should regularly visit the official website of J&K Bank to check for the updates.

Documents to carry at the JK PO Exam Hall

In the examination hall as well as at the time of interview, the applicants need to carry the call letter along with the photocopy with Photocopy of any of the following documents as under –

• PAN Card
• Passport
• Permanent Driving Licence
• Voter’s Card
• Bank Passbook with photograph
• Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ university
• Aadhaar card/ E-Aadhaar card with a photograph.

Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof for this process.
