Selection Stages of Constable in J&K Police Department
The Jammu & Kashmir Police Department at the time of announcing the Police Constable Recruitment has informed the selection process. As per the Official Notification, the Selection for Jammu & Kashmir Police Constable Posts will be through the following stages –

JK Police Constable Physical Endurance Test (PET) Details
This is the first stage of the Selection Process and it is qualifying in nature. Candidates who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test shall be eligible for Physical Standard Test. The Test comprises Long Race and Pushups as the Test for the candidates. The details of the event are as follows –

The Test shall be of qualifying nature for which no marks will be allotted.
J&K Police Constable Physical Standard Test (PST) Details
Candidates who are qualified in the Physical Endurance Test (PET) shall have to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST). The Measurement of Height & Chest will be completed. Candidates must have to qualify for this stage to qualify for the Written Examination. The details of the required Physical Standard Test is as under –

Written Examination Pattern of Jammu Police Constable Selection
The Written Examination is the last stage of the JK Police Constable Selection Process. The Examination is offline based examinations consist of objective questions. The question paper will consist of 100 questions to be attempted in 2 hours. Moreover, the standard of the questions will be the Madhyamik Level.
