JPSC AE Exam Pattern Details

Jharkhand PSC will conduct the Prelims Examination at the start of the selection. Thereafter, the mains & final exam will be concluded. The Exam Pattern Overview of all of the tests are as discussed below for the aspirants –

JPSC AE ( Civil & Mechanical ) Prelims Exam Pattern

Jharkhand conducted AE Preliminary Exam of (Civil & Mechanical) will have two papers on OMR sheet. The Prelims questions will be objective in nature and it is divided into Paper I and Paper-II. Each of the paper will have a time duration of 2 hours each while the number of questions for each will be 100.

• Paper I Questions will be in Hindi & English.
• Paper-II Questions will only be in English.

JPSC AE ( Civil & Mechanical ) & Electrical Mains Exam Pattern

Jharkhand PSC AE ( Civil & Mechanical ) & Electrical Mains Written Examination will have two sections – Section I & Section II. Section I will consist of objective questions while Section II of the Exam will have conventional papers (descriptive in nature). Both the sections will cover the entire syllabus of relevant engineering viz. Civil, Mechanical & Electrical. The details of the Mains Examination subjects, exam duration & allotted marks are as under –

• Candidates must answer Conventional Papers in English.
• The Question Papers will be set in English only.
• Candidates must qualify in Section I as per commission announced cut off, failure to which the Section II will not be evaluated.
• Candidates can carry battery-operated calculator for conventional papers only.
• Only the International System of numerals ( 1,2.3,4, etc) is allowed on the answer sheet.
