Eligibility for Various Courses
The eligibility of various courses at Kashmir University is shared through the chart as under. However, for other courses, the interested candidates can check the details here.
| BBA (Hons) Programme | 45% marks (Open) and 40% (Category) at 12th class level (Higher Secondary Part-II) in Science, Arts or Commerce streams from J&K Board of School Education or any other Board/Institution equivalent thereto; |
| BCA (Hons) Programme | 45% marks (Open) and 40% (Category) at 12th class level (Higher Secondary Part-II) in science, Arts or Commerce stream from J&K Board of School Education or any other Board/Institution equivalent thereto; The candidates having passed their Higher Secondary Part-II examination (under 10+2 pattern) without Mathematics/Computer related subject are also eligible, however they shall have to compulsorily opt Mathematics as a Generic Elective in all 1st four semesters. |

Kashmir University Merit List / Selection List 2021
The Kashmir University Admission Selection List will be prepared by adopting the following procedures –
- Total seats available for a particular program shall be divided among each category as specified in the reservation policy.
- In case, no eligible candidate is available under a particular reserved category, the seat(s) including fractional part under that category shall be shifted to open merit category.
- The first two selection lists for all programmes/courses shall be issued on the basis of relative merit and preferences given by the candidates in the Application Form.
