Selection Stage in KPWD AE / JE Recruitment 2019

Applicants of this KPWD Junior Engineer & Assistant Engineer Recruitment shall be selected through the following mentioned stages as under –

Written Examination

85 % Weightage

Interview

15% Weightage

Therefore, the candidates who are shortlisted in the Written Exam according to merit shall qualify for the Interview or Viva Voce. KPWD will prepare the Final Merit list giving the weightage percentage as above.

Karnataka PWD Written Exam Pattern Details

KPWD Written Exam shall have three papers; each paper shall be for 2 hours. While the maximum marks of each paper will be 100. More details about the Exam Pattern is as under –

Descriptive

The Competitive Written Exam contains an objective type of multi-choice paper. The Kannada language test Question paper will be descriptive while it will be qualifying & score in this paper will not be considered for selection. However, the Kannada Language paper is limited only to those candidates who had not opted Kannada as a language in the SSLC / class X/equivalent Examination. Although the score in this paper is not important, but if you do not pass the exam then you will not be considered for the selection. So give due importance to this paper also.
