Mahishadal Girls College Merit List 2023 – Highlights
Mahishadal Girls’ College is the only women’s college in Purba Medinipur District established on 1st August 1969. The college started its journey from a rented building in Rathtala, Mahishadal with a modest number of staff members and students. In 2003, the college was shifted to the picturesque surroundings of Rangibasan, about 1 km. away from its previous location. The college became affiliated with the University of Calcutta in July 1969. However, at present, it is affiliated to Vidyasagar University and has been accredited at B level by NAAC Peer Team in 2006. At present, Mahishadal College has become a premier women’s college of West Bengal. Thus it is an ideal institute for the girl’s candidates to pursue higher studies after the 10+2 Examination.
