Eligibility Details for Manbhum College Admission 2023-24
Willing and 10+2 Passed students intend to submit the online registration for undergraduate course must have to fulfill the eligiblity requirements as under –
| For Honors | Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. |
| For General / Pass | Candidate must have obtained a minimum of Pass marks in the aggregate at the previous qualifying examination. But no students passed with Vocational Course or of PH category are eligible to opt for PHYSICAL EDUCATION and GEOGRAPHY as General optional papers. |
Manbhum Mahavidyalaya Merit List Calculation Method
Manbhum College Purulia will adopt the merit calculation method as per Sidho Kanhu Birsha University. Separate calculation method will be adopted by the college to derive the Manbhum Mahavidyalaya Merit List 2023. The Course Wise calculation method is discussed here for reference.
For Honours Courses
Sum of Aggregate marks and concerned subject marks secured in H.S./ (10+2) Examination will be considered. While preparing the merit list, in case of the same index number the priority will be selected first by comparing English Marks in H.S. Exam. and then on the basis of seniority by virtue of Date of Birth.
For General Courses
Merit List will be prepared only on the Aggregate marks secured in the H.S./ (10+2) Examination.
