Exam Pattern of MSCWB KMC Engineer Recruitment 2019
This year MSC West Bengal had conducted SAE ( Mechanical) Recruitment for KMC. Following this, similarly, it can be rightly said that KMC SAE ( Electrical & Civil) Recruitment shall have two stages of Recruitment. And Based on the combiner Performance MSC West Bengal will publish the Final Merit List. So, Stages of Selection Process are as under-

MSCWB AE / SAE Written Examination
The First Stage of Selection is the Written Examination for 200 marks. At first, MSC West Bengal will conduct OMR based Written Examination. The Written Exam will carry a total of 200 marks consisting of multiple-choice, objective type 100 questions carrying 2 Marks each on relevant Engineering Branch. Negative marking of 1(one) mark will be deducted for each wrong/incorrect answer. Questions will be set in English with a time allotment of 2(two) hours. Therefore Tabular view of Written Exam shall be as follows-

Qualifying Marks in Written Exam
- 45% for General Candidates
- 40% for OBC(A) & OBC(B) Candidates and
- 35% for SC, ST & PH Candidates.
Personality/ Interview Test
Next Stage of Selection is the Personality Test. Personality/Interview Test will carry 40 marks. Written Test Qualified candidates of about 3 (three) times of the vacancy will be called on merit basis for Personality Test / Interview. Thereafter, MSCWB will declare the Final Merit List taking into account candidates’ performance in both the test.
