Munshi Premchand College Siliguri Admission Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the UG Courses, the eligibility criteria shall vary according to courses. For WBCHSE and other Boards, a candidate must pass (10+2) at least four subjects including English as compulsory excluding Environmental Studies/Science. However, a candidate can apply for Honours if only the following conditions are fulfilled:-
- 55% in the aggregate or 50% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject opted for Honours.
- For SC/ST candidates the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 50% marks in the aggregate or 45% in aggregate with 60% in the subject.
Please Note: In the matter of eligibility to apply for admission to B.A Honours Program Courses 54.5% or above shall be as 55% marks, 49.5% or above be treated as 50% and 59.5% marks as 60%

Admission to all B.A Honours Program courses at Munshi Premchand College Siliguri will be based strictly on merit. For this the Merit List shall be calculated as per the following norms :
