In the month of December 2019, NABARD has released an all India basis Officer Attendant Recruitment Notice. A total of 73 vacant posts were announced. How are Office Attendants Selected in NABARD?

As per the Official NABARD Notification, the Selection for the Office Attendant will be done on the basis of two-phase Online Tests (Preliminary & Mains) and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). In tabular form, it will be as under –

NABARD Office Attendant Preliminary Online Examination Details

As the name, suggests, that the NABARD Office Attendant Preliminary Examination will be an online Examination. The Preliminary Examination is only qualifying in nature and is meant to serve as a screening test. Only those candidates who score sufficiently high in both, individual tests & in aggregate, shall be shortlisted for Main Examination in the calling ratio of maximum 1:25 based on the cut off arrived on the performance of the candidates in the examination. The Prelims Examination will have a composite time duration of 90 minutes. Subjects and Mark Distribution in this Test are as under –

• For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty in the examination.

NABARD Office Attendant Mains Online Examination Details

The Mains Examination is also an Online Test. And the shortlisted candidates in the Prelims Exam can appear for the test. Only such candidates who score the cut off marks or above in the Main Examination will be shortlisted for selection. A total of 150 marks will be there in the Mains Examination with a time duration of 120 minutes to complete. Subjects and mark Distribution are as under –

Language Proficiency Test Details

LPT will be of Qualifying Type. The candidates provisionally selected/waitlisted from the On-line Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be conducted in the Official Language of the State (Regional Office) concerned. Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
