NTPC Northern Region invited applications for Diploma Trainee Posts for the mentioned units of NTPC under this region. Candidates on selection may be posted at any of the Units though candidates may be posted in any other units based on NTPC requirements.

NTPC Lucknow (Northern Region) Recruitment- Vacancies & Pay Scale

Posts Pay Scale:

On selection, candidates will be on probation for 2 years, during which he/she will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.15,500/- per month. After successful completion and confirmation, shortlisted candidates will be absorbed in the pre-revised pay scale of

  • 15500-3%-34500/- (W7 grade).

The Wage revision is due w.e.f 01-01-2017.

Educational Qualification

Upper Age Limit

The upper age limit for Gen/Unreserved Candidates should be 25 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as follows-

  • 3 years for OBC-NCL Candidates.
  • 10 years for PwBD-General Candidates.
  • 13 years for PwBD-OBC(NCL) Candidates, and
  • 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates.

Application Fees

NTPC application fee is non-refundable. Candidates are required to deposit the registration fee to the nearby SBI Branch with the printout of the “pay-in-slip” available at the portal of NTPC. The rate of application fees according to the notification is as under-

  • General/OBC category candidates – Rs 300/-
  • SC/ ST/ PwBD/ XSM candidates are not required to pay the application fee.
