Selection Process of ONGC Assam Recruitment 2019
Selection of the candidates in ONGC Assam Recruitment 2019 shall be done through the undermentioned Stages
- Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by
- PST/PET/Skill tests wherever applicable.
Applied candidates have to qualify at each stage separately. Based on the score in CBT and qualifying the PST / PET / Skill Test & weightage on Educational Qualification, Merit list of the applicants will be prepared by ONGC Assam.
CBT – Main Selection Stage; Pattern Details
From the above section, it is quite clear that CBT or Computer Based Test will play a key role in the Selection Process. Hence candidates should have the complete and up to date knowledge of the CBT Pattern. Knowing this will surely help in preparation and score better in the Test.

- CBT Questions shall be multiple choice objective type for a total of 100 marks.
- There will be No Negative Marking in the exam.
- Total duration of the test shall be 2 hours.
- CBT Questions shall be trilingual i.e. English, Hindi & Assamese. For the post of Jr Asstt (OL) the test will be in Hindi.
- PWD candidates shall be eligible for compensatory time i.e. 20 minutes per hour (total 40 minutes)
How to download ONGC Assam Admit Card?
According to Official Notice, ONGC Assam is going to conduct the Exam during june 2019. Although the Exact date will be revealed soon. Now at least 10 days earlier of the CBT date, ONGC will release the ONGC Assam Admit for the eligible applicants. Thereby on release, applicants can download the ONGC Class III / IV Hall Ticket for the Computer Based Test. Under any circumstances, applicants should have to download it and keep ready for the Test. Good News is that eligible SC/ST/PWD candidates called for written test/skill test will be reimbursed to & fro second class rail/bus fare by the shortest route, on the production of railway ticket or bus ticket. While candidates who opted for examination city other than the city nearest from mailing address will not be paid TA.
