Physical Standard of Puducherry Police Constable Recruitment
For Men :
Height: Not less than 165 cms.,
Chest : 81-86 cms. with minimum expansion of 5cms
Weight: Body Mass Index(BMI) – Should be 18.50 to 29.9 Kg./M2Minimum
For Women
Height: Not less than 154 cms.,
Weight: 45 kgs Minimum.
Physical Efficiency Test of Puducherry Constable Recruitment
For male candidates:
Stage-I – 800mts Run – 2 minutes and 50 seconds
Stage-II – Long Jump – 3.80mts
Stage-III – High Jump – 1.20mts
Stage-IV – 100 meters run – 15.00 Seconds.
For female candidates
Stage-I – 200mts Run – 45 seconds.
Stage-II – Long Jump – 2.75mts
Stage-III – High Jump 0.9mts
Note: 1. All the above events are compulsory.
- Each stage of physical efficiency Test is a Qualifying stage by itself for the next stage i.e. only the candidates who qualify in the stage-I of physical Efficiency test will be eligible for the stage-II and so on.
Written Test Pattern of Puducherry Police Constable Recruitment
- The questions will be in objective type and will be generally of 10+2 standard.
- The question paper will be in two parts each of two hours duration
- The written test will be in English and Regional languages (i.e) for the candidate from Puducherry and Karaikal in Tamil, for Mahe in Malayalam and for Yanam in Telugu.
- The Questions for General English shall be only in the English Language.
