Stages of Punjab Police Intelligence Assistant & Constable ( Investigation ) Selection Process
The selection process of Punjab Police Intelligence Assistant & Constable (Investigation Cadre) Recruitment shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of the following Tests:
| Stage I | Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Paper |
| Stage II | (i) Document Scrutiny (ii) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (iii) Physical Screening Test (PST) |
Please Note: Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature and final merit list will be based on the performance in Computer Based Test (CBT).
Punjab Police Intelligence Assistant CBT / Exam Pattern
The first stage of the selection process shall be a Computer Based Test, consisting of Multiple Choice Question Paper. The Question Paper shall be bilingual viz. in Punjabi and English. The Exma Topics and mark distribution of the CBT is as under –

- Total duration of Written Test – 3 hours.
- Candidates has to qualify the test to appear for PET & PMT.
- Qualifying Marks for SC, ST, EWS & Ex-Servicemen is 25 % marks while it is 30 % for others.
- There is no negative mark for wrong answer.
