RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Conditions
To apply for the Railways Group-D Posts, job aspirants must have the below mentioned eligibility conditions according to the Railways Notification no- CEN No 04/2024
Age Limit Criteria
Age criteria shall be calculated as on 1st July 2024. The age limit for different categories of candidates is –
| For UR / EWS categories of Applicants | 18-33 Years |
| For OBC categories of Applicants | 18-36 Years |
| For SC/ST Categories of Applicants | 18-38 Years |

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have the educational eligibility to apply for GR-IV Posts on Indian Railways as on the release date of this notice. Candidates waiting for the results of prescribed qualification should not apply as their application will be rejected.
- Minimum 10th Pass or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification for all Posts.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The Selection Process for RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 shall have the two steps which every applicant need to clear to get into the final selection.
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Fitness Test
The final merit list of RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 shall be on the basis of CBT performance provided the candidate clears the PET which is qualifying in nature as per RRB notification.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
The Railway Recruitment Board Group D Exam Pattern will have objective type questions on the following subjects. The test will be conducted online by the Railway Recruitment Board and hence it is named as Computer Based Test. A brief overview of the exam scheme is as under –

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test Scheme
RRB Group D PET shall be conducted online for the candidates who are shortlisted in the computer based test. Actually, 3 times of the vacancies will be called for PET. The RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test shall have the following events which the candidates need to clear for being selected.
| For Male Candidates | Male Candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down & also they should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. |
| For Female Candidates | Female Candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down & they should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance |
