SCERT Assam has released the Two Year DELED Course Admission Notice for the year 2022. For this, the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Assam has invited online application from the candidates who are the permanent resident of Assam to appear in the Pre Entry Test (PET)-2021 for admission into 2 – Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course. Interested Candidates note that the course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET / CTE / Normal School / BTC / Pvt. TEIs ) of the state for the academic session 2022-24 beginning from 1st July 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for SCERT Assam DELEd Entrance Test Registration
| Qualification | For Lower Primary (LP) level : The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in extra optional. [For candidates belonging to SC/ST category there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate.] For Upper Primary (UP) level : The applicant must have passed BA/BSc. from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. [For candidates belonging to SC/ST category there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate] |
| Age Limit | Interested applicant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July 2022. There will be relaxation by 2 years for candidates belonging to SC & ST categories. |
