Exam Date Announcement of SSC CHSL 2020

Staff Selection Commission will conduct the exam in three steps, namely Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III. The Commission had already declared the Exam schedule of Tier-I and Tier-II Exam. And as per the Notice, The Tire-I Exam will be conducted on 12 to 16 October 2020, 19 to 21 October 2020 and 26 October 2020 and Tier-II Exam date will be announced soon. So, applicants have very few time left their hand to get prepared for the test. As usual like the previous year, this year there will be tough competition during the exam, So aspirants must take their good preparation to crack the exam. Tier-II qualified candidates will be called for Tier-III Exam. SSC will update the Tier-III Exam exam date on the official site of SSC.

Selection Process of SSC CHSL ( 10+2) Exam

Going by the Selection Process, Combined Higher Secondary Exam 2020 has changed over the years. However, the latest stages through which SSC will finalize the shortlisted candidates of this competitive examination. Stages of Examination in SSC CHSL 2020 Examination are as under –

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Overview Details

Applicants who are going to appear for the SSC 10+2 / CHSL Examination can check the Exam Pattern overview of the selection process. Below is the Exam Pattern in a tabled form for you all.

Tier-I (Computer Based Examination-Objective Type)

  • The Time Duration of the Test is 60 Minutes.
  • The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only.
  • The questions will be set both in English & Hindi
  • There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Tier-II (Descriptive Paper) Exam Pattern

Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks. The duration of the Descriptive Paper would be for one hour. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and a Letter / Application of approximately 150-200 words.

Note: The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 percent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.

Tier-III (Skill Test/ Typing Test) Pattern

Skill Test/ Typing Test for the qualified candidates will be conducted on computers provided by the Commission or its authorized agency.
