Staff Selection Commission has recently announced more than 25000 vacancies through the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023. Vacancies of such number is sure to grab the attention of the job seekers. Selection Stages in SSC GD Constable Recruitment

As per the official notification from SSC, the selection for the post of Constable General Duty in CAPF is through the following stages –

SSC GD Constable PST & PET Details

Based on the performance in CBE, the commission will shortlist the candidates for PET/ PST. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres finalized by the CAPFs. During the SSC GD Constable PET/ PST, candidates who are found eligible on height parameters will undergo PET (race) followed by biometric/ technology aided identification.

Note: Ex-servicemen who are shortlisted will have to appear in PET/ PST for recording measurement of height, chest and weight only. PET will not be held for these Ex- servicemen candidates. However, they will have to qualify the medical examination.

SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Details

As a mandatory stage of SSC GD Constable Selection Process, the candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:
