SSC MTS / Havaldar Recruitment Stages of Selection
As per the Official Notification of SSC, the Board shortlists the best candidates who clears the selection rounds. The SSC MTS Selection Process shall start with a CBT / Paper I which is the basis of selection. Followed by this, the candidates need to appear for PST/PET (for Havaldar) and Paper II which is qualifying in nature. The tabular form of SSC MTS Exam Selection process will look like –

- The Test will have Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
- The Test will be of 90 minute duration.
- Each question will carry one mark while there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
PET/ PST Pattern for Havaldar Post Only
The applicants who applied for Havaldar post in CBIC / CBN shall have to qualify the PST / PET. Only the shortlisted candidates in Paper I will be eligible to participate in the PST / PET organised by the Authority. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN are as under –

SSC MTS Paper II Exam (Descriptive) Pattern
The Paper-II of SSC MTS Recruitment 2022 will be of descriptive type in ‘Pen and Paper’ Mode in which the candidates will be required to write a short essay and a letter in English or any language included in the Schedule-VIII of the Constitution.

SSC MTS / Havaldar Admit Card Download Updates
Staff Selection Commission shall assign Roll numbers and issue Admission Certificate (AC) / Admit Card to all of the candidates who applied within deadline and whose applications are found to be in order for appearing in the Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) & subsequent stages. As per the official notice, the facility for downloading of SSC MTS / Havaldar Admit Card will be available about 3-7 days before the examination on the website of SSC Regional Office concerned. Candidate must bring printout of the Admission Certificate to the Examination Hall.
The information about the SSC MTS Examination indicating the time table and City/ Centre of Exam for the candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the SSC Regional Office about two weeks before the date of examination. If any candidate does not find his detail on the website of the Commission, one week before the date of examination, he must immediately contact the Regional Office concerned of the Commission with proof of having submitted his application. Failure to do so will deprive him of any claim for consideration.

In addition to the SSC MTS Admit Card, it is mandatory to carry at least two passport size recent colour photographs, Original valid Photo-ID proof having the full Date of Birth as printed on the
