UP D.El.Ed. Course Admission Details
UP D.El.Ed. or Uttar Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education is a 2 year diploma program, on the completion of which a Certificate of the Course Training will be awarded to the successful candidates. UP DElEd Course was formerly known as BTC / Basic Teacher Certificate in Uttar Pradesh. Since BTC Qualified Candidates are appointed as Teacher in UP and are given preference in the Selection in the Recruitment, So every year lakhs of students apply for the BTC Course to complete the Course.
In Uttar Pradesh D. El Ed Course is provided by both Govt run Institutes and also Private Institutes. Candidates can only get admitted to the Institutes or Colleges through Merit List as & when it is declared by UPEB. As per NCTE Guidelines, candidates who want to apply for UP D.El. Ed Training Course must have the undermentioned educational qualification and should be within the defined age limit as under –
| Educational Qualification | Candidates must be 10+2 Pass in any stream with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Freedom Fighter & Ex-servicemen there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate marks of the 10+2 exam result. |
