WB ESI MB Scheme of GNM Admission Notice 2020-21
ESI MB Scheme of GNM Admission is a scheme in which the Government of West Bengal provides the educational opportunity of 90 bright students to complete the General Nursing & Midwifery Course. The Course duration is of 3 years ( course ) and 6 months ( internship ). Every year a large number of students fill up the admission form through offline process. This year also the admission notice of WB ESI GNM Nursing 2020 – 21 is released on the official website. Important dates of the ESI MB Scheme GNM Admission 2020-23 is as under –

How will ESI West Bengal prepare Nursing Merit List 2020?
Now to shortlist the application and to prepare the WB ESI GNM Merit List 2020, the Authority will consider the secured marks in the HS Examination. Actually, the Selection will be made strictly on the basis of total marks obtained in one language (best
among language papers) in addition to best of three marks among selected subjects as mentioned below. A minimum of 40% marks in English language paper is mandatory.
The percentage will be calculated on a total of four subjects as follows –
| For PCB combination applicant: 20 (twenty) marks will be added with P.C.B (physics, chemistry and biology) Subjects. (candidates must pass both in theory & practical separately) | Total marks (four subjects) = Marks of PCB + best marks in Language paper +20 (Twenty) |
| Other than PCB combination applicant | Total marks (four subjects) = Marks of best of three + best marks in Language paper |
Please Note that Marks in Vocational Stream and Candidates who have passed from Open Schools will not be considered.

Candidates who are shortlisted in the ESI MB Nursing Admission List 2020-23 shall have to appear for the Medical Test.
