Earlier West Bengal Health Department every year after the Higher Secondary used to announce the GNM / ANM Notification. But from this academic session 2021-24, WBJEEB released the WBJEE ANM & GNM admission notification. The application was active until 27th April 2021. Now the WBJEEB is going to complete the admission formalities. So, on this page, we shall be discussing the WB GNM / ANM Notice 2021 – Stages During the Entire Admission Process. We hope this will be helpful for you all.
To start, we presume that you have filled up the application for ANM / GNM Admission 2021 within the closing date. Now the stages in details are as under –

| Stage 1 | Registration through the WBJEEB Portal |
| Stage 2 | Appearing for Entrance of ANM / GNM |
| Stage 3 | Provisional List Release – In this stage, WB Health will declare a Provisional List of all of the candidates with a Rank according to the applicants category. This is NOT the selection list. |
| Stage 4 | Next is Counselling & Verification Part – In this stage, WB Health will set a Category Wise Cut Off which will be revealed later. Within the cutoff, the applicants shall be called for documents verification & Medical Checkup. The candidates who are in the provisional list need to check their individual selection. This can be through logging to the portal or WB Health will upload a PDF File for all of the shortlisted candidates. In this stage, the applicants shall also be able to know the venue of document verification and medical check-up. They may have to download the verification letter by logging with the required credentials. |
| Stage 3 | Final Rank List – In this stage the final rank of all of the verified candidates will be announced. |
| Stage 4 | Allotment List – In this Stage the candidates can get to know the Nursing Institutes to which he/she is allotted for admission. The Process is completed in several rounds namely – Round 1, Round 2 , Round 3 & so on until the seats are fulfilled. With the announcement of allotment, the selected candidates need to follow the instruction to complete the required formalities. |
