Online applications are invited from the willing and eligible candidates for Admission to the various NCVET affiliated CTS trades in different Govt./Govt. ITIs running under PTP/ Pvt. ITIs for the session 2022- 23& 2022-24. Online form fill up will be commence from 28.02.2022.
Eligibility criteria for WB ITI Admission 2022
| Age Limit | Minimum age to admit in an ITI is 14 years. There is no maximum age limit. |
| Educational Qualification | For admission in “M” group trades – minimum educational qualification is class X (Madhyamik or equivalent board examination) pass from a recognized board. For admission in “E” group trades, minimum educational qualification is class VIII (Eight) pass from a recognized school. |
How are candidates selected for WB ITI Admission 2022 ?
WBSCVT shall not conduct any Written Exam for admission, rather based on academic score the applicants will be shortlisted for admission. The merit list criteria for WB ITI Admission 2022 are as under –
| For M Group trades | a) On the basis of marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent board examination. |
| For E Group trades | a) On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the class VIII examination. |

The eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the Registration of ITI Courses in West Bengal. The WBSCVTE has started accepting the online application from 28th Feb 2022.
