Eligibility Criteria for Wireless Supervisor Vacancies

Age Limit as as on 01.01.2021	21 years to 27 Years old as on 01.01.2021. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by – 05 (five) years for Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) 03 (Three) years for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s degree with any of the following subjects :- Physics or Radio Physics or Electronics and Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology from any recognized University.

Selection Process of WBP Wireless Supervisor Posts

West Bengal Police Wireless Supervisor Grade II Posts shall be filled up on the basis of the candidate’s qualifying in the following tests –

The final merit list of the WBP Wireless Supervisor provisionally selected candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in the Final Competitive Examination and the marks obtained in the Personality Test.

WBP Wireless Supervisor Preliminary Exam Pattern

All of the applicants provisionally considered eligible will have to appear in an MCQ based preliminary examination. The Test is qualifying in nature and the score in this will not be considered for final selection. There would be 100 objective type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying equal marks each. Questions of the Preliminary Examination shall be from the following subjects :-

• The Test will be for 2 hours ( Two hour ).
• Question paper will be set in English language only.
• There will be NEGATIVE marking of ¼ th of the allotted marks for each incorrect answer.

WB Police Wireless Operator Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

For Physical Measurement Test (PMT), the physical standards – height, weight and chest (for Male candidates only)] of the candidates as mentioned above will be tested by using electronic machines of those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination.

In addition to the Physical Standard Test (PST), the candidates must qualify in the following Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as follows –

WB Police Wireless Supervisor Final CCE Pattern

The candidates qualified in Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will have to appear in the Final Competitive Examination. The Final Written Examination for these 2 (two) papers shall be held on the same day at selected centres. The WB Police Wireless Supervisor Final CCE will consist of 2 (two) papers of conventional type of questions namely –

Paper – I (English) of Final CCE – 50 Marks

Essay/Report Writing/ Precis Writing/ Grammar	35 Marks
Translate a passage from English to Bengali/Nepali as the case may be to test the ability of candidate to write in Bengali/Nepali language	15 Marks
Total	50 Marks

• The Time Duration of the Test is 1 hour duration.
