WB Postman / Mailguard Syllabus / Exam Pattern Details

To start off about the Exam Pattern of the Recruitment, West Bengal Mailguard & Postman Recruitment shall have a Written Test called Aptitude Test only. Based on the performance in the Written Test, a merit list will be published Postal Division Wise against the vacancies published for that division. Since only a Written test is the main selection criteria, scoring in the Test will be the be main factor for final selection. Higher the score is better the chance to get selected. Qualifying marks in the Aptitude test is necessary as per the Official Notification. Category Wise & Group Wise minimum Qualifying marks are as under-

For UR Candidates 10 marks in each part and 40% in aggregate
For OBC Candidates 9 marks in each part and 37% in aggregate
For SC/ST Candidates 8 marks in each part and 33% in aggregate

It is to be noted that no weightage or preference shall be given for Higher Qualification while preparing the Division Wise Merit List.
