Eligibility of WBPSC Clerkship Examination 2024
Candidates who want to apply for WB Clerkship Exam 2024 must have to fulfill the eligibility conditions. Hence, below are the eligibility conditions in detail shared for the interested job aspirants.
Required Qualification
- Citizenship of India or such other nationalities as are declared eligible by Govt. of India;
- A pass in the Madhyamik Examination of the WBBSE or its equivalent.
- Computer Literacy with ability of typing on computer at the speed of 20 (twenty) words per minute in English or 10 (ten) words per minute in Bengali.
- Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not applicable for Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas )
Age Limit Criteria
Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023. Upper age limit is relaxable by
- 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal,
- 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and
- Up to 45 years for Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above.
