WBPSC Fire Operator Physical Endurance Test Details
Candidates after the PMT shall have to qualify in the Physical Endurance Test (PET) through the following list of events.
- 1000 meter run within 5 minutes;
- Ladder climbing within 20 seconds;
- Lifting and carrying of sandbag weighing 63.5 kg continuously for a minimum of 50 meters;
- Run up three stories of the standard staircase within 1 minute;
- Rope climbing using only hands within 60 seconds;
- High Jump 1.22 meter or more.
