BHU UET 2021 – Exam Pattern Overview
Banaras Hindu University UG Entrance Test will be an Online Test. The Test is also known as Computer Based Test – (CBT). The CBT requires the candidate to sit on an allocated computer terminal (node) according to his/her Roll Number on the BHU UET Admit Card 2021 at the allotted Test Centre. Thereafter, the Candidates would be required to login in the computer terminal using the login-ID and password and attempt the questions online. There shall be one paper of 150 minutes (Two and half hours) duration carrying 300 marks containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), to be divided into the following two parts – (a) 30 MCQs on teaching aptitude, reasoning, current educational scenario;
(b) There will be four subject groups viz., Languages, Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences and Humanities. The candidate will be required to appear in the group for which he/she has given option in the application form on the basis of his/her eligibility. Each group will have 70 MCQs. The distribution of questions in the various groups will be :-

There shall be one written Paper of 120 minutes (Two hours) duration containing 100 multiple-choice questions each in Vocal, Instrumental-(Sitar, Flute and Violin), Instrumental-(Tabla), Dance-Kathak and Dance-Bharatnatyam carrying 300 marks and one practical Examination (performance and viva) of 45 minutes duration carrying 600 marks.
B. F. A Entrance CBT Pattern
The UET CBT Pattern shall have One Paper and Two Practicals. The Theory Paper shall comprise 50 multiple-choice questions of 60 minutes duration carrying 150 marks. Questions shall be on general awareness in Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Commercial Art/Applied Art, Pottery, Ceramics and Textiles). There will be TWO Practical Examinations viz.
- Object drawing in pencil with light and shade of 90 minutes duration carrying 360 marks.
- Memory Drawing from imagination of 90 minutes duration carrying 360 marks (in any medium i.e. Pencil, Colour Pencils, Pastels, Crayons, Water Colour, Poster Colour etc.).
B.Voc. in Food Processing & Management / B.Voc. in Medical Lab Technology Common Test Pattern

How to download BHU UET 2021 Admit Card Online ?
The BHU UET Admit Card 2021 will be available at the BHU Entrance Test Portal. After the download, the candidates should check the Admit Card carefully for the Name, Gender, Category, Photograph, Signature, Course name, Course Code, etc. In case of any discrepancy, immediately contact the UET Section of the Office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU for necessary action but not later than 03 days from the issue of Admit Card. Instructions for Candidates appearing in BHU UET 2021
- The candidates should carry their identification document (as provided in the application process) to the examination centre, for authentication of their identity, along with the Entrance Test Admit Card, failing which such candidate shall not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
- No Candidate will be allowed entry to the Test Hall after the start of the Entrance Test. The candidates should follow the instruction given in the Admit Card in this regard.
- A particular computer will be allotted to every candidate in CBT Mode. Candidate should find out and occupy their allotted computer only. Any candidate found to have changed room or the computer on his/her own other than allotted, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and no plea would be accepted for it.
- No Candidate will be allowed to carry any baggage inside the Examination Centre. The University will not be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the premises.
- No Candidate shall be allowed to leave the Test Hall till the end of the Test.
NOTE: Calculators/watch calculators, electronic diary, pager, mobile phones, earphones, alarm clock, digital watches with memory, slide rule, etc. are not allowed in the examination hall. Also, carrying of licensed weapons, fire arms, tools which can be used as lethal weapons are not allowed in the examination hall.
