CLAT 2021 is the Entrance Test organised by Consortium of National Law Universities for admission to Undergraduate Courses (CLAT UG) and Post Graduate Courses (CLAT PG). With the declaration of CLAT Result 2021, the following information will be available on it –

CLAT Merit List Preparation Criteria
The Entrance Test Score is the factor on which the merit list is prepared. In case of CLAT-UG, the total marks of the objective test is 150. Thus, as per rules in force, candidates will be allotted 1 mark for each correct answers minus .50 marks for each wrong answers.
Similarly, in case of CLAT-PG 2021, the same marking scheme will be followed. But for PG Courses, the Entrance Test has two part – Objective & Descriptive. Hence, the candidates who secure 40% (35% in case of SC, ST, and PWD) marks in the objective section will only qualify for the evaluation of their answers in the descriptive section.

CLAT 2021 Cut Off Marks
In regard to CLAT Cut Of Marks, this the minimum score up to which the candidates are selected for admission to a particular University. The CLAT 2021 Cut Off Marks shall not be the same as previous year. This is because the CLAT Cutoff Marks 2021 shall depend on the following factors –

- Initially in case of tie, the candidate with Higher marks in the component / section on legal aptitude in the CLAT 2021 exam will be given higher Rank.;
- If it is not resolved then, the candidate who is Higher in age will be allotted higher rank;
- Finally, if the tie is not resoled through the above two methods, then the selection of candidates will be through a Computerised draw of lots.
