West Bengal Board of Primary Education has released the Notification of WB Primary TET 2022. According to the notification, the Primary TET 2022 will be conducted by the board on 11th December 2022 across the state. Now, as you all know that to secure the school teacher jobs at primary schools (I to V) standard, the qualifying of Primary TET is mandatory. Eligibility to Apply for WB Primary TET 2022

The teaching job aspirants who want to apply and appear for West Bengal TET (Primary) 2022 must have the following eligibility conditions as under –

  • Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent 10+2) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (DEIEd) OR
  • Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent 10+2) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEIEd) OR
  • Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent 10+2) with at least 50% marks and having Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) OR
  • Graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DEI.Ed).
  • Candidates who are in the final year of DElEd/B.Ed and have qualified the Part I of the 2020-2022 academic session can also apply.

5% relaxation of marks will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC – A/OBC – B & other exempted categories of applicants.

Note: The candidates who have enrolled for 2 Year DElEd/ BEd Course or equivalent and are pursuing the same can also apply and appear for TET 2022.

  • The Primary TET Examination for the Class I to IV Standard School Teacher comprise of a Single Paper Offline Test.
