Eligibility Criteria for WBPRB Wireless Operator Recruitment

Age Limit as as on 01.01.2021	18 (Eighteen) years to 27 (Twenty Seven) years old as on 01.01.2021. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by – 05 (five) years for Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) 03 (Three) years for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Educational Qualification	The applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or equivalent examination from any of the recognized Boards in Science with Physics and Mathematics.

Selection Process of Wireless Operator in WBP

The posts of Wireless Operators in West Bengal Police shall be filled up by direct recruitment (selection) on the basis of the candidate’s qualifying in the –

The final merit list of the provisionally selected candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in the Final Competitive Examination and the marks obtained in the Personality Test.

WBP Wireless Operator Preliminary Exam Pattern

Applicants provisionally considered eligible will have to appear in an MCQ based preliminary examination which is qualifying in nature. There would be 100 objective type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying equal marks each. Questions of the Preliminary Examination shall be from the following subjects :-

• The duration of this examination will be 1:30 hours (one hour thirty minutes).
• Question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali).
• There will be NEGATIVE marking of ¼th of the allotted marks for each incorrect answer.
• The marks obtained by a candidate in the preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit list.

WB Police Wireless Operator Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

In addition to the Physical Standard Test (PST), the candidates must qualify in the following Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as follows –

WB Police Wireless Operator Final CCE Pattern

The candidates qualified in Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will have to appear in the Final Competitive Examination which will be taken in 2 (two) parts as follows:-
