Final Selection Process of SBI PO Recruitment 2020
The State Bank of India PO Selection is through a three stages of selection –
- Prelims – Phase I,
- Mains – Phase II and
- Interview / GD – Phase III.
The Phase I or Preliminary Exam is the shortlisting stage. The Recruitment Cell will shortlist the candidates on the basis of the Prelims Result for the next level of selection. As a mandatory selection process, the candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. And the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase-III for preparing the final merit list.
How are the SBI PO Score Cards Prepared for Final Selection?
To derive the final selection list of Probationary Officer, the candidate’s marks in the Phase-II (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Phase-III scores of candidates (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. Thereafter, CRPD of SBI prepares the final merit list after aggregating (out of 100) the converted marks of Phase-II and Phase-III. The Final Selection List will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
