Selection Process of WB Excise Constable Recruitment
Applicants who have submitted the online or offline application shall be provisionally eligible to appear for the Selection Process. While the Complete Selection Process shall have –
- Preliminary Written Test (Full Marks – 100)
- Physical Measurement Test & Physical Efficiency Test
- Final Written Test ( Full Marks – 90 )
- Interview – 10 marks

At the last stage, WBPRB based on the performance of the Final Written Exam & Interview shall declare the selection list. Preliminary Written Test of WB Police Excise Constable Selection
PWT is an MCQ based written test which is qualifying in nature. There would be 100 objective type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying equal marks each. Questions for Preliminary Written Test except those meant for Bengali / Nepali language will be set in three languages (Bengali, Nepali & English )

WB Excise Constable PMT / PWT Details

Final Written Test ( FWT ) of WB Excise Constable Recruitment
Candidates qualified in Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called to appear in the Final Written Test to be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board ( WBPRB). The Final Written Test will have 90 (ninety) Multiple Choice (Four choices) Objective Type Questions (MCQs) each carrying equal marks. The question paper will be set in three languages (Bengali, Nepali & English) except questions on the English language. While there will be NEGATIVE marking for each wrong answer & ¼th of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
