Selection Process of WB Forest Bana Sahayak Post
The Selection for the West Bengal Forest Ban Sahayak Post shall not be through any Written Examination. Rather the Department or the Authority will allot certain marks based on the eligibilty and skills. After this the Department will conduct an interview and personality test. The marks which will be awarded to the candidates will be out of 100. The criteria of the mark allotment is as follows –

The West Bengal Forest Department will engage a Board known as CEB consisting of three member to finalise the selection according to districts. All the three members of the Engagement Board shall award marks to each candidate as per above criteria out of a total of 100 and the WB Forest Ban Sahayak Merit List shall be prepared by adding the marks given by each member in the descending order of marks obtained out of 300.
Result in Case of a Tie between Candidates
In case of tie between two or more candidates getting same marks, the age of candidates will be taken in consideration, with the oldest being allotted a better rank. Same way, in case of the candidates with same age and marks, the candidate scoring higher in the General Knowledge Oral Test will rank higher in the merit list.
WB Forest Bana Sahayak Result 2020 Release Mode
The concerned CEB will prepare the WB Forest Bana Sahayak Selection List containing names of candidates who score marks up to a cut-off finalized. The final engagement will be against the number of posts allotted to the Circle and on the basis of ranking in the selection list. Circle Engagement Boards (CEBs) Composition
Each Circle Engagement Board will comprise of three (3) members. It will be headed by a Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), with two (2) Divisional Forest Officers (DFOs)/ Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCFs) as members. One of the DFOs/ DCFs will be the Member Secretary (MS) for the Board.
