West Bengal Police has invited application from candidates for 816 Warder posts. Eligible candidates can apply through both Online / Offline process. Applied candidates must aware about the Selection Process of WBP Warder Recruitment and also about the Syllabus and Exam Pattern. Through this article, we will present to the candidates the Syllabus followed by Exam Pattern of WBP Warder Recruitment 2019.

 

West Bengal Police Recruiting Board ( WBPRB ) will make the selection on the basis of –

  • Written Exam.
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
  • Interview.

WB Police Warder Written Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Applicants provisionally considered eligible shall have to appear for an MCQ based Competitive Written Examination. There would be 90 (ninety) Objective type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying equal marks each. The duration of the examination will be 1(One) hour. While the question paper will be set in three languages (English, Bengali & Nepali) except questions on the English language. The question of the Written Examination shall be from the following subjects –

Note:

  • There will be a Negative marking of ¼th of the allotted marks for each wrong answer.
  • WBPRB at its discretion of fixing the qualifying marks in the Competitive Written Examination for the next level.

WB Police Warder PMT / PET Details

A limited number of candidates will be shortlisted for PMT & PET on the basis of performance in the Competitive Written Examination. Details of each of the test are as follows –

  1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

In this test, candidates physical standards (height & weight) will be checked using Electronic Machines.

Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis, and Scheduled Tribes) 167 78 cms. With the expansion of 5 cms. (78 cms. – 83 cms.) Proportionate to height as per medical standard

  1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • For Warder: – Long Distance Run – 1600 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 06 minutes 30 seconds).
  • For Female Warder: – Long Distance Run – 400 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 1 minute 50 seconds).

Note:

  • WBPRB will decide the venue of PMT / PET
  • PMT & PET are qualifying in nature.

WB Police Warder Interview Details

The Last Stage of WB Police Warder/ Female Warder Recruitment 2019 is the Interview. Candidates who qualify in the PMT & PET will be called for interview. Actually, in this stage, the general awareness and suitability of the candidate for public service is checked. Further, the Interview Board will also test the knowledge of Computer operation and application. Maximum Marks in Interview is 10 marks.
