Bad News for the students who have been waiting for admission into top Central Universities without any entrance test. As the University Grant Commission (UGC) has brought a surprising news for the students who are going to pass the 10+2 Examination. According to the UGC Notice, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct an Entrance Test named as Common University Entrance Test or CUET for admission to the Undergraduate Programmes in Arts & Commerce in this academic session. Thus, admission to top universities like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Milia Islamia etc will only be through CUET UG Scores.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Introduction
CUET UG or Common University Entrance Test – Under Graduate is an Undergraduate entrance test for all the Central Universities (CUs) for the academic session 2024-25. Thus, CUET as the name suggests will be a common entrance exam to students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country. Moreover, as per the available information, the CUET (UG) – 2024 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) for the applicants. Hence, the aspirants who desire to appear for the test, may refer to the Information Bulletin for admission to Undergraduate programmes of the desired Central Universities (CUs).
What is the Exam Pattern in CUET UG?
The Common University Entrance Test will have questions of the Class XII Standard. Moreover, the Exam will have the following sections as under –

From when will CUET UG 2024 Registration Start ?
As per NTA Notification Dated 26th March 2024, the Online Application Forms for CUET Undergraduate Programmes will open from 31st March 2024. NTA will provide the link for the same on the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. Thus, the candidates who wish to appear for CUET (UG) – 2024 should go through the required eligibility of the desired University/ Universities for selecting the options from UG Programmes being offered. Please Note that the Online Application will be open from 31 March 2024 to 05 April 2024 (Up to 09:50 P.M.).
