BHU UET 2021 Result – BHU UET Cutoff 2021
The Banaras Hindu University will announce the BHU UET Cut Off Marks after the declaration of BHU UET Result 2021. Cutoff is the minimum mark that every candidate who appeared for the Common entrance test should score in order to qualify the exam. Based on the BHU UET 2021 Cutoff only, the authority will prepare the BHU UET Merit List 2021. Therefore, Only those candidates who score minimum or more than Cutoff marks will be named in the BHU UET 2021 Merit list. However, as per the official Admission Notification, the Minimum qualifying marks in an Entrance Test shall be determined as follows-
- For General/ OBC categories: Not less than 35% of the marks in the concerned Entrance Test;
- For SC/ ST categories: Not less than 25% of the marks in the Entrance Test However, for MPA and MFA, minimum qualifying marks for theory paper will be 35% and in the practical minimum qualifying marks will be 45%. The Merit shall be based on the sum of two components viz., marks obtained in Theory and practical tests.
- For BPA and BFA: the minimum qualifying marks for theory paper will be 35% and in the practical minimum qualifying marks will be 45%. The Merit shall be based on the sum of two components viz., marks obtained in Theory and practical tests.
- For B.P.Ed.: the minimum qualifying marks in Theory Paper shall be 35% while in Physical Fitness Test it will be 45%. The merit for B.P.Ed. will be the sum of three components viz. Marks in Theory Paper, marks in Physical Fitness Test and Bonus marks for sports achievement (if any).
Determination of BHU UET Merit List 2021
The BHU Authority will determine the BHU UET 2021 Merit list on the basis of inter-se merit of the candidates. BHU UET Merit List 2021 prepared separately for open merit category and for each reserved category in the descending order. The Candidates who wish to take admission should score at least the minimum BHU UET 2021 Qualifying Marks set for different categories as per the BHU Admission Reservation Rules.
If two or more candidates get the equal merit, then inter-se-merit of such candidates will be taken into consideration. The tie-breaking criteria will be in the following order.
- Preference shall be given to the candidates who have higher aggregate percentage of marks at the Qualifying Examination. However, for admission to B.Sc. and B.Sc (Hons.) Ag. the aggregate marks in Science subjects shall only be considered.
- In case the candidates have equal marks in the above stated Examinations, then the candidate senior in age shall be given preference.
