CISF Head Constable Recruitment Selection Process
As per the CISF Official Notification, the team of CISF organises few rounds to screen the eligible candidates. After completing the entire screening procedure, the CISF Crew declares the merit list of aspirants. Actually, CISF will make the selection on the basis of –

CISF Head Constable Exam Pattern Overview
If you are willing to appear in the CISF Head Constable Exam, you can see the CISF Head Constable Exam Paper Pattern 2024 to estimate the examination difficulty level, marking structure, test duration, subjects to prepare etc. Plan keeping in mind the Exam Pattern so that you can secure a good score.
- Height Bar Test (HBT) : Those candidates found eligible in height bar test will be put through PST.
- Physical Standard Test: The candidates who are in qualified Height Bar Test will be measured for height, chest, and weight by the Board of Officers. The candidates who meet the requirements of the physical standard will be allowed to participate in the documentation. The Physical Standard which is needed is given below –
- For Male Candidates : Height — 165 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded)— 82 cms (81 cms for ST).
- For Female Candidates: Height – 155 cms (150 cms for ST candidates).
- Documentation: In this event, the original documents of the candidates will be verified by the Board of Officers.
CISF Head Constable Written Test Scheme
- The written test will be either OMR/Computer-based Test
- Objective type question paper to be answered on OMR sheet of 100 marks of 02 hours duration.
- The written test will be containing 100 Marks.
- The Subjects of the Test will be General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and General English or Hindi.
- The questions will be set bilingual in English/Hindi.
- The minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for next stage will be as under:
- General /ESM : 35 % & SC/ST/OBC : 33 %
Skill Test Norms on Computer: English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM on a computer or Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on the computer ( Time allowed -10 minutes).
Medical Examination And Screening of Testimonials: Only those candidates who have qualified both the stages will be required to appear in the Medical Examination.
