CISF Head Constable Exam Date Update

CISF will make the final list for Head Constable post through several numbers of Selection Process. The department will announce the Exam Date on its official portal. The Selection Process and Exam Syllabus have already been published by CISF. Candidates should take their preparation for the upcoming Exam. The exam will be conducted a few days after the announcement of the Exam Date.

CISF Head Constable Recruitment Method Selection

CISF will make the selection on the basis of –

• Height Bar Test (HBT)
• Physical Standard Test
• Documentation
• Written Test
• Skill Test Norms on Computer
• Medical Examination And Screening of Testimonials

Below we will discuss shortly the selection Process:

Height Bar Test (HBT) : Those candidates found eligible in height bar test will be put through PST.

Physical Standard Test: The candidates who are in qualified Height Bar Test will be measured for height, chest, and weight by the Board of Officers. The candidates who meet the requirements of the physical standard will be allowed to participate in the documentation. The Physical Standard which is needed is given below –

• For Male Candidates : Height — 165 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded)— 82 cms (81 cms for ST).
• For Female Candidates: Height – 155 cms (150 cms for ST candidates).

Documentation: In this event, the original documents of the candidates will be verified by the Board of Officers.

Written Test :

• The written test will be either OMR/Computer-based Test
• Objective type question paper to be answered on OMR sheet of 100 marks of 02 hours duration.
• The written test will be containing 100 Marks.
• The Subjects of the Test will be General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and General English or Hindi.
• The questions will be set bilingual in English/Hindi.
• The minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for next stage will be as under:
• General /ESM : 35 % & SC/ST/OBC : 33 %

Skill Test Norms on Computer: English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM on a computer or Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on the computer ( Time allowed -10 minutes).

Medical Examination And Screening of Testimonials: Only those candidates who have qualified both the stages will be required to appear in the Medical Examination.
