Selection Process of IB Security Assistant (Executive) Recruitment 2018

As we got an overview of the IB Notification, now we shall discuss the selection process of IB Security Assistant Posts. MHA through IB will fill up the posts of SA in Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau across the Country. Selection for this posts is very competitive in nature. Steps or Stages involved in MHA (IB) Security Assistant ( Executive ) Posts are as under-

  • Objective Type- Tier I Written Exam
  • Descriptive Type – Tier II Written Exam
  • Tier III – Interview / Personality Test

On the basis of their performance in Tier-I exam, candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II & Tier-III exam at 10 times the number of vacancies. Tier-II examination will be of qualifying nature. All candidates appearing in Tier-II exam would be provisionally admitted in Tier-III exam, i.e. interview/personality test. Final Selection will be on the combined performance of the applicants in these test subject to have secured the cut off marks.

Tier I Written Exam Pattern Details

This Examination will be the first of the exam in the selection process. Tier I Exam will have Objective type MCQs, divided into 4 parts containing questions of 1 marks each. While there will be negative marking of the ¼ mark for each wrong answer. Minimum cut-off marks (out of 100) in Tier-I exam are as under –
