Selection Process for UGVCL Junior Engineer Posts

The selection for UGVCL JE Recruitment is through an Online Test. Applicants need to clear this test and shall have to rank high in the order of merit for final selection. Minimum 85% of representation in selection will be of local resident of Gujarat State as per GR dated 31.03.95. The candidate shall have to submit the Domicile Certificate of being a resident of Gujarat State if he/she claims appointment under 85% quota.

UGVCL Junior Engineer Online Test Pattern

UGVCL will conduct the test in Online mode considering the number of eligible candidates registered. The question paper for the Online Test shall be consisting of 100 questions of 100 marks. Questions will be in English only and there shall be negative marking system and 1/4^th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The Online Test will have five (5) sections in MCQ paper having approximate weightage for each section as under:

Section – I	General Knowledge	10%
Section – II	English Language	10%
Section – III	Engineering Subjects	60%
Section – IV	Computer Knowledge	10%
Section – V	Gujarati Language & Grammar	10%

2. Now, head over to the ” Career” Option on the menu.
3. Click on it to open.
4. A new web page will open.
5. Now, click on the Admit Card Link.
6. Enter the Confirmation no & DOB in yyyy-mm-dd format.
7. Click on print call letter.
8. Finally take a hard copy of it.
